  • South Tyrolean dried fruit is not treated with sulphur! Some producers use sulphur dioxide to keep the colors fresh and prevent microorganisms from developing. However, sulphur dioxide can cause health problems.
  • South Tyrolean dried fruit is not coated! Some producers treat the dried fruit with oil or wax to stop it sticking together. This increases the calorie content.
